Suitable to be applied from 17 years up, the MSCEIT (Test of Emotional Intelligence from Mayer, Salovey and Caruso) developed at the Center of Emotional Intelligence in Yale University by the current President of Yale University, Peter Salovey, PhD, is used to assess emotional intelligence. The MSCEIT is a test designed to evaluate emotional intelligence understood as the ability of a person to identify the emotions of others; to use emotions to assist thought; to understand simple and complex emotions, and to manage one's emotions and others.
